A Vintage Mahogany Sideboard in Salmon

This was such a fun piece to work on! I picked the sideboard up from a lovely new client on Tuesday, and being that it's now Friday, you can imagine how eager I was to refinish it. I love the Queen Anne spin on the form; so many sideboards are Federal in style, and it's nice to see one from time to time that is unique and distinctive. The client selected a salmon color for the case (excellent choice!) and we went with a cream interior. I ordered antique oval Federal brass pulls for it, as the over the top gold ones were, well, way over the top.
I sanded, stained, and sealed the top, painted the case, distressed and dark waxed. I just adore how it turned out!
